11th activity (February 2020)

In February 2020 teachers and students from the 5th Lyceum of Veria visited a hydroelectric power station of the area as an example of industry that uses water resources and improves local economy. After that they visited the thermal power plant in Ptolemaida, which uses lignite to produce energy. The students made a comparative analysis between the ‘’blue’’ industry and the similar ‘’non-blue’’ one and presented the results to the school.
